Internet Research Group Publishes Research Study
On Surviving the Recession
Los Altos, CA – January 23, 2008 –
Internet Research Group (IRG) today announced the release of its latest
report on the business of technology infrastructure, “Surviving This
Recession - Strategies to Gain Market Share During the Recession.”
Information Technology infrastructure companies are not immune from today’s
economic conditions. Many IT infrastructure executives are wondering what
2009 has in store for their companies. During the depression, Charles
Kettering, the inventor of the electric car-starter, founder of Delco and
head of GM’s research labs to 1947 had this advice for businesses, “I
believe business will come back when we get some products that people want
to buy.”
In this new report, IRG looks at ways IT
infrastructure organizations can align their marketing and sales strategies
to make the most of market conditions. “This recession may be an opportunity
to put you in the position to gain market share,” noted John Katsaros,
co-founder of IRG. “During difficult economic periods, companies often
stumble and cut back when in fact they should be re-aligning their
positioning and investing in strategies which can increase market share.”
This report presents twelve strategies for
winning market share during difficult economic periods.
